Hail Hail!!

We had to get these shots of the hail storm! It happened so quickly, so we don't have good pictures of the big sections...the rain washed them away...but in the top picture, you can see some of the bigger pieces. For a bit, all of them were bigger than quarter-sized.

Kowe Kowe Kowe

This is Kowe's newest favorite pasttime...getting her belly rubbed. She's almost like a cat when she comes up and rubs against us, then flops on her back for a rub. She's also recently learned (though we're still working on getting her to do it every time) to sit, lay and roll over. She can dance too (where she stands on her hind legs and dances in a circle), but again, only when she feels the need. She's a little stubborn!

Here's a pic of Kowe and I cuddling on her bed. She won't get on there unless she can still be touching us, but it's really comfy, so we cuddled for a bit on there. You can see how relaxed she is!

Bridesmaids Dress Shopping!!

We went bridesmaids dress shopping this weekend. It was really fun, and I have such a great group of women who surround me, I'm very lucky. The girls came to a decision very easily!!

Here is a pic of everyone together. Penny, Ellie, Abby, Jess, Griff, Shell, Elizabeth (Bub) and my mom. Everyone was hungry here!! This is right before we left for lunch at Pocket Full of Rye!!

Of course my little man had to be part of the day!! He was on camera duty, and as you can see, he sometimes likes to get pictures of himself rather than others. He knows he's cute!

Here is a pic of our beautiful flower girl, Ellie. She was such a princess in her dress!! We're looking for a dress similar to this one, which does a pick-up just like mine.

This dress was my second favorite. This is Jess and Abby. Beautiful dress, and this one would have been in dark red and champagne.

BUT...we found a MUCH better option!! Originally, the dresses were going to be dark red, but we loved the black so much next to my dress, and the way it looked on everyone, that we changed everything up and went with black!! Here are some pics of Jess, being her silly self. I cut out my dress, but she's practicing talking to me (since I'm so much taller) and posing with me. I think she's all set for the pictures!

Yardwork!

So you can see that we have a LOT of work to do with our yard. This is understandable since it used to be all field until this past year....but Josh decided to get to work this weekend. We raked a bunch of the hay and Josh fertilized the yard. We're waiting for the company to come and clear the ditch before we can do anything to it, but you can see some of the ditch in the bottom picture.

We're really happy with the size of the yard, especially for a neighborhood like ours...it's about as big as we could have hoped for!

The garden will probably go in the corner of the yard that Josh is in in that last picture...but we'll see about that here in the next few weeks!

And of course I couldn't post without some adorable pics of Kowe. She is so darn cute! The first two are of her lounging with Josh...which she could lay around and nap ALL day... Don't mind her bad hair day.

And the last one, she looks so young, but it was taken last week of her playing with her buddy. Do you know a cuter dog??

The Honeymoon is BOOKED!!!!!

Sandals Grande St. Lucian, here we come!!! Josh's major assignment in this whole process was to plan the honeymoon, and I was starting to give up hope! He's such a planner and he had to compare prices on everything out there, but we're so happy and relieved to finally be able to say it's BOOKED!

And this is a pic of the Pitons. They are two volcanos, and one is the only drive in volcano in the world (I believe). This is one of the excursions that we are certain we are going to do.

Everything is so gorgeous, now let's just hope there isn't a hurricane the week of our honeymoon!!!

Kowe with Big Dog...

We watched the dogs for a few days this past week while Josh's parents were in Jamaica. Actually, Josh stayed with them because Kowe is a little too rowdy for the dogs. She loves them so much, and we thought these pictures were too cute to pass up of her trying to give Mac some lovin. She just wanted to play and finally he got sick enough of her that he finally got up and she just stared at him like, "I love you Big Dog!"

And these pics are hilarious because Kowe knows that she can get away with murder at her Grammy's house. The big dogs' food dishes were on the counter and she was trying to figure out a way up, so she figured that she could get on the table and somehow get over to the counter. Obviously it didn't work, but how funny is her little face?!

And this is a picture that Josh took of us taking a nap, but he woke Kowe up in the process. She's such a cuddle bug.

Shell's Birthday Dinner...

We went to dinner at La Scala for Shell's birthday, and it was really pretty good. We had planned to go see TrevDiesel play, but we opted for some Silver Dipper ice cream instead!

It was great to be able to spend some time with Shell & Dan and Bub & Ryan. We don't get enough time with them, so we decided tonight that we need to make a much better effort, in spite of all of our random schedules! We used to have Family Sundays almost every week so we're going to have to get back to something like that.

Happy Birthdays!!!

I love birthdays!! Today, strangely enough, we have two birthdays! Shell and Ronnie are both celebrating their birthdays...so HAPPY BIRTHDAY GUYS!!!

Sadly enough, we didnt' get to celebrate with either of them today. Ronnie & Patty left for Jamaica today, and we're going out on Saturday for Shell's birthday. But I wanted to make sure to post that it was their birthdays!!

It's a......

As a little background, my sister's doctor will only typically do one ultrasound. He's a stickler. We had one back before Christmas, but the baby wouldn't cooperate. So Shell and Dan convinced Dr. McQuaig to do another one, but he said it would be in the spring. Well, we decided we couldn't wait, so we went today to Indy and got a 4-D Ultrasound, where you can see the baby and it's features. It was by far (with the exception of seeing Griffin born) the most amazing thing I have ever seen!!

SOOOOO.............it's a BOY! Another nephew for us!! And the funny thing is, he looks *identical* to Griff! So he's going to be absolutely adorable! We could see him rooting and swallowing and even sticking his little tongue out! They gave them a CD and a tape and lots of pictures, so I may add more, but this is the one I brought home.

Josh was a little freaked out by the eyes. The pic is of his profile, and you can see his ear in the upper left, with his eyes, his nose, and his lips look like they are kissing his little muscle! That's his arm stretched over his face. He's a showoff like his daddy already!!

Now we're even more anxious to meet him!

Our Bridal Party Cookout!

Since Josh's good friend (and groomsman) Travis is in town, we decided to have a cookout with our bridal party so that everyone could meet him. Obviously, Jeremy and Lisa weren't here, which was sad, and our friends, Abby & Billy just had a baby boy this week, so they couldn't make it either, but we had such a great time! Josh made excellent food, and it was a great excuse for a get together in the new house!!

At the end of the night, we played some games, and Wyoming was on TV, so we *had* to watch! Josh and Travis were hilarious. Unfortunately, Wyoming didn't win, but we still had fun! And Kowe was so tuckered out!!! All she wanted to do was sleep, and when we got up this morning, she wasn't ready! She was still sleepy!!

Kowe Sue's New Bed

We have been looking all over for a bed big enough for Kowe because she loves to curl up on our couch pillows, but they're too small for her. So finally this past week, we found a big comfy bed with all kinds of room! She's warming up to it, but still likes the couch.
